From Plasticity...

We decided to spend the week before we moved at the place where all your dreams come true...Disney World.  Walt Disney and his team are marketing geniuses.  As we walked into the Magic Kingdom on our first morning, I thought I was on the set of the Stepford Wives.  Main Street, USA appeared eerily perfect as performers with huge smiles danced in the freshly paved street outside the freshly painted storefronts.  Cleaners appeared out of nowhere if a single piece of trash touched the ground.
We spent one night at the Animal Kingdom Lodge where all four of us "slept" in the same room.  (by slept I mean stayed awake all night).  Within feet of our balcony, giraffes and other exotic animals roamed the African Savanna.  (Disney's version of Africa of course lacked mention of tribal wars, horrific poverty...)

We spent the following five nights at a time share on Disney property.  The two bedroom presidential suite (really incredible) enabled us to enjoy the theme parks and still escape to our own space.  The kids' reactions to the Winnie the Pooh, the Mickey and Me Parade, and rides such as Pirates of the Caribbean made the trip for me.
