Emily invited Dave and I to see her work from the quarter. As always, I loved the creativity and hands on learning her school embraces. This year she graduates from the primary program and moves to second grade in the elementary school next year. We started at her desk where she walked us through bugs and their habitat and fractions.
Two students in her class wrote a song about bugs which her class performed at the school assembly. They gave us on encore performance in the music room.
Emily wrote a "Little Miss Book" about Miss Rainbow and Mr. Old.
She showed us her journal
and her work on now and long ago.
Finally, we walked through her art portfolio.
Is it really time for second grade???
