Vienna Summer Film Festival

Every summer at Rathauspark, the square in front of the Vienna City Hall, the city creates a stage with bleachers seats and 26 chefs set up stalls representing food from around the world.  We decided to head there for dinner and to check out the set up.

The kids tried the wings and burgers from the US stand, which was dressed in a Coca-cola motif, while Dave ordered from the Korean vender.  I enjoyed a greek gyro with tzatziki and a spritzer, a popular summer drink in Austria that is traditionally made with white wine and soda or sparkling mineral water. I found a raspberry one made with red wine.

The event is set in such a picturesque space.

We finished the evening eating chocolate with a side of broken pancakes.
